“Kiss Me Quick” – Currier and Ives Print. The printmaking firm Currier and Ives sold inexpensive lithograph prints depicting historical events, popular images, and portraits from 1834 to 1907. This print and “No You Don’t” sent conflicting messages about the behavior of a courting couple.
