  1. I would love to use this in my Elementary classroom when talking about travel and history of the United States. I would show this primary source to my students when teaching them about our nation’s capitol.

  2. In my classroom, I could discuss vacation advertising and how it has changed from the past to the present day. I could also mention the cost of vacations, how prices have inflated over time, and how print advertising has shifted to the internet – a great lesson that combines primary source images, economics, and media literacy.
